Bound for the Bogwood
A downloadable RPG module
Tensions are growing in Basabag, a quaint town at the mouth of an eerie swamp forest. One month ago, ten clerics ventured into the Bogwood, intending to proselytize the endemic frogfolk. They were supposed to be gone a week; now, the villagers fear the worst.
Including a village, a forest pointcrawl, and a dungeon, with dozens of NPCs and original monsters and items, Bogwood fits seamlessly into any fantasy world. It’s designed for Cairn and Old-School Essentials but easily usable in any fantasy role-playing game.

This looks really great! Thanks!
But there's a blank page on 20 that just says "MAP". Is there a map missing? Is it supposed to be a map of the Sinking Temple?
Thank you so much! Yes, it’s supposed to be a map of the Sinking Temple, but this project is unfortunately unfinished. There are many illustrations I’m planning on adding, but it will probably be a little while before I can fully finish this.
Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions, but it should be playable as is! …with a bit of extra DM creativity for the Temple ;)
These maps are beautiful.
It’s always irked me that fantasy maps have trees nestled together like they’re some special feature, instead of being the default, omnipresent, background the the entire area. This whole thing really emphasises cramped little areas.
It seems odd to have no roads. Does everyone travel by river?
The map numbers are off, and one keys says ‘X lives here’, but I assume that’ll get fixed later.
Do you mind if I make a version for the BIND RPG? If not, do you have a copy of the maps without the numbers?
Thanks so much for the kind words! Which version (what filename) did you download? I don’t see the map number errors nor the ‘X lives here’ thing on my end, but it’s certainly possible they’re there. (Edit: you must have been talking about the screenshots, I just fixed those!)
As for the no roads, it’s a pretty unpopulated and wild forest, so the idea is most folks travel by river. Maybe I’ll add a note about that!
Thanks for the feedback and the interest! I’d love if you made a version for BIND, and I can get you a numberless map, but in both cases you might want to wait a couple weeks for it to be fully done! I’ll hit you up on dice.camp :)
I have the Draft v5 pdf.
Cheers! Looking forward to it.
